What do I get with my House League registration dollars?

Great question!  We have recently incorporated a slight increase in CGHA registration fees to accommodate the increase in ice rental costs.  We want to provide you with a fee structure breakdown giving you a better understanding of where your registration dollars GO!

  • 20+ scheduled games & practices - 1 game and 1 practice each week
  • Additional exhibition games with Northumberland Girls Hockey Association for certain divisions
  • Interlock "regular season" play with local community organizations
  • Power Skating development
  • Skill Development focused on stick handling, shooting and defensive play
  • Goalie clinics for current and "future" goalies
  • Goalie equipment on loan for younger division goalies
  • FREE player registration for the Annual CGHA FLAMESFEST Hockey tournament
  • Team jersey
  • Player Trophy & an invitation to the year-end celebration banquet
  • Professional team and individual photographs

Your registration dollars go a long way!  We are especially pleased to provide ongoing player development through multiple power skating and skill sessions from experienced and recognized organizations.  Our goal for this year is to increase the number of sessions we provide.  This is unique to the girl's hockey organization and is not offered through boys' hockey.

Our local FLAMESFEST tournament was extremely successful last season welcoming teams from all of Ontario.  Typical tournament fees per player can cost approximately $60 - $75.  Your registration fee includes the cost of our local tournament for every CGHA team.
